Constipation Problem

Posted on July 31st, 2009 by hubbort in Diet Logs, Healthy Eating

Are you having a hard time with your bowel movement?  Chances are, you are experiencing a condition called constipation.  This happens when our digestive system, particularly the colon, absorbs too much water from the passing food, resulting in waste matter that are dry and hard.  The person experiencing this will have a hard time expelling his bowel movement.  The causes of this condition can be poor dieting and exercise, lack of water and mostly, due to lack of fiber in our food intake.

Fiber is the indigestible part mostly can be found inveggies and fruits.  It absorbs water making your stool soft and easy to expel.  Make it a habit to include fruits and veggies in your every meal and diet.  There are soluble fiber supplement available in the market for a quicker relief  from constipation.  Another factor is the lack of water in our body.  Eight glassess of water a day will make you healthier and constipation free. But fiber and fluid will be more effective if you include physical exercise in your lifestyle.  Exercise will help your body, especially your digestive system to a faster processing of  food.  This is now the new lifestyle of the health conscious.
